Summer Camp Reservation Info
Knox
Trail Council’s E. Paul Robsham, Jr. Scout Reservation
is home to Camp Resolute and our Cub Adventure Day Camp
located on Little Pond in Bolton, Massachusetts. We are
convenient to Nashoba Valley Ski Area, the Bolton Fair, and
many historic sites in Massachusetts. The camp is easily
accessible from Routes 495, 85, and 117. Resolute also
features hiking trails and fishing on Little Pond.
Water is generally available throughout the camp from May 1st
until September 30th. Scout camp latrines are
located throughout camp. We hope that you will enjoy your
stay with us, and let us help to provide the outdoor program
to your group. All facilities are accessible for
individuals with disabilities.
Accommodations
Mohawk Village
This area has 7
wood lean-tos and that can hold up to 28 campers. Each
lean-to has a fireplace and 4 bunks with mattresses
Shaughnessy Lodge
This cabin has
24 beds and electricity. There is a wood-burning stove for
the heat source.
Rifle Range Cabin
Located at the
shooting sports range, this pavilion has a fireplace, a
wood-burning stove, electricity, and bunks for 30 people.
It is available from September 1st to March 31st.
BUSTER’S PLACE (NEW THIS YEAR)
Built in 2005,
Buster’s Place provides space for meetings and lessons. The
shelter has lights and electricity and provides shelter in
inclement weather. Couple this with a campsite and leave
the dining flies at home.
Ball Field
The ball field
can accommodate large groups for games such as softball and
soccer.
Plains Field
This offers a
slightly smaller general activity area.
TENT SITES
Resolute also
features several areas available for tenting and our ranger
will do his best to accommodate your request for a specific
area.
Meeting Areas
Whitman Hall
Seasonally
available from May 1st to September 30th,
however in use for camp July and August. Our dining hall
will hold up to 240 people and also includes a large
fireplace. The fully complemented camp kitchen is also
seasonally available for rental as conditions allow water to
be available.
MaGee Administration Building
This building
has a wood-burning stove and can comfortably hold about 24
people for a meeting or conference. It also has two rest
rooms which are operational from May 1st to
September 30th.
Sullivan Training Room
Located
downstairs in Whitman Hall, this training room can hold
groups up to 40 people.
BUSTER’S PLACE (NEW THIS YEAR)
Built in 2005,
Buster’s Place provides space for meetings and lessons. The
shelter has lights and electricity and provides shelter in
inclement weather.
Jewett Lodge
This training
area will hold about 30 people, is heated and available for
year-round use, however restrooms and running water are shut
down from September 30th to May 1st.
There are 2 restrooms (see dates) and outside facilities
year round. A small refrigerator, and a kitchenette area
with a stove are also available. Jewett Lodge is for day
use and available from August to June. Inquire at our
office for extended use.
Memorial Chapel
Overlooking
Little Pond and newly renovated, this area can hold 100
people.
Smith Amphitheater
This area is
perfect for campfires and outdoor Courts of Honor or other
programs. It will hold up to 500 people.
Other Facilities
Little pond waterfront
Call our
council office to inquire about use of our swimmer’s area or
canoe rental.
Shower House
Opposite
Whitman Hall is our central shower house and restroom
facility for adult use only. As conditions permit, this
facility is available from May 1st to September
30th.
C.O.P.E.
Our C.O.P.E.
course is available for rental. Special arrangements should
be made with the Council offices at (508) 872-6551. Course
rental includes a certified C.O.P.E. director to conduct the
activities.
Trading Post
Our Camp
Trading Post will open on weekends for your group. Please
ask the Camp Ranger for hours of operation during your stay.
MacInnes Parade Field
This field is
centrally located between the amphitheater and the
waterfront and is a good central spot for general
activities.
Picnic Grove
Our picnic
grove is located next to Whitman Dining Hall and can seat 75
people.
LOCAL
CONVENIENCES – Resolute
Take
a left onto Rt 85 from our driveway and then a right onto Rt
117 to Stow (go through lights in the center) for the Shaws
Grocery Store. Take a right onto Rt 85 and follow through
Hudson Center. Hannaford Bros is on the right just after
the Dunkin Donuts or a Stop & Shop if you take a left at the
lights at the intersection of Rts 85 and 290.
DIRECTIONS
From the East:
Take Mass Pike
to Route 9 West to I-495 N toward
LOWELL. Take the RT-117 E exit- EXIT 27- toward
STOW/MAYNARD. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto MA-85/HUDSON RD. Our
drive way is about ¼ mile on the right.
From the South:
Take Route 495
North to the RT-117 E exit- EXIT
27- toward STOW/MAYNARD. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto
MA-85/HUDSON RD. Our drive way is about ¼ mile on the
right.
From the West:
Take Mass Pike
to Route 290 West. Merge onto
I-495 N via EXIT 26B on the LEFT toward LOWELL. Take RT-117
E exit- EXIT 27- toward STOW/MAYNARD. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT
onto MA-85/HUDSON RD. Our drive way is about ¼ mile on the
right.
From the North:
Take Route 495
South to the RT-117 E exit- EXIT
27- toward STOW/MAYNARD. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto
MA-85/HUDSON RD. Our
