Registration Costs:  $50 per troop – site fee due by December 21, 2012

$10 per Scout/Scouter – MUST BE RECEIVED BY JANUARY 4, 2013

·            ● Cold weather camping/Winter survival skills

·            ● Saturday night Cracker-Barrel

·            ● Patrol themed events and competitions, awards

·            ● Sled Race

 

An event guide will be emailed to unit leaders ASAP.  Troops will be staying in lean-to’s and winter tent camping.  There will be a general meeting area and a warming station, as well as contingencies prepared for inclement weather.  Each participant will receive a 2013 Freeze Out patch, included with the registration fee.

Troops are encouraged to use their January troop program to review winter camping skills, gear, clothing, winter survival skills, etc.

Each troop must designate one Scouter and one Scout (SPL/ASPL) to serve on the Freeze Out planning committee.  The event is limited to 300 total Scouts/Scouters, so early registration is encouraged.  Units planning to attend, please fill out the form below, and return it to the council office with the necessary fees paid.  No registrations accepted after January 4, 2013.
