Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) is an overnight hands-on training for Boy Scout leaders.  It covers a number of outdoor camping skills including, cooking, knots, woods tools, etc.  Learn new skills, reinforce old ones, and build confidence to teach these skills to Scouts. For Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters, this course is part of the requirements to earn the “Trained” patch.  It is also part of the requirements for adult leaders of a Venturing Crew that runs an outdoor program.  This version of the course will start on Friday evening.  We will have you on your way home after the closing campfire on Saturday night, approximately 9:30 PM so you can spend Sunday with your family.

FEE:  Free for Mayflower Council Leaders / $30.00 for out of council
