This is a fun and exciting training for all Cub Scout Leaders who have minimal camping experience but want to plan and carry out an entry-level outdoor experience for the Pack.

At least one adult leader on any Cub Scout or Webelos outdoor activity overnightner must be BALOO trained. Multiple trained adults in the pack will provide added depth of leadership. This is the first step in the evolving BSA camping training program. A very capable staff will prepare you for fun and successful family Pack overnight campouts.

By completing this course you will: understand the focus of the Cub Scout level of the BSA camping program; acquire the skills and confidence necessary to plan and carry out a successful, first-time Cub Scouts-level camping activity; increase your knowledge of the resources available from the BSA and other sources to carry out this activity; and understand the requirements for successful completion of this activity, using national standards as guidelines.

The registration fee is $18.00 and includes lunch and all program supplies. Because we are providing lunch, it is very important that you pre-register for this course.
