Answers to Your Frequently
Asked Questions
What can I expect at Camp?
Fun, fun
and more fun!
Who can attend?
Your
entire family; you, your son, your spouse, your
daughter, your teenager, your two year old, in short
anyone in your family can attend! Talk to other
families in your Cub's pack and you can plan to come
to Camp Resolute together and share a campsite.
Do I have to cook?
Food is
prepared fresh on-site by our volunteer chefs. Meals
include a buffet lunch, a "medieval style" feast for
dinner, and an Ice Cream Social on Saturday and; a
buffet breakfast on Sunday.
What do
we have to bring?
It’s an overnighter so sleeping bags and a change of
clothes are recommended. You may wish to bring a
tent but we do supply you with tents on a wooden
platform and cots. The waterfront is open so a
bathing suit and towel is recommended and rain gear
is occasionally necessary.
Where can I purchase refreshments & souvenirs?
Camp
Resolute runs a well-maintained "General Store"
called a Trading Post. For sale are Camp Resolute
t-shirts, hats, mugs, and patches. In addition we
stock toiletries, candy, snacks, ice-cold Coca-Cola,
Hershey's Ice Cream, refreshing Swirl 100% natural
fruit based slush and other
goodies.
How do I register for this great event?
Register
electronically on our secure website or download and
mail-in this registration form. Family Camp programs
are non-refundable but are transferable to a
different family camp weekend in the same season
pending availability.
Should I talk to other families in my son's Cub
Pack?
Absolutely! Many Cub Packs like to come to Camp
