This February 23rd, members of the Boy Scouts of America from all over the Commonwealth will share the great news of Scouting in Massachusetts with the members of the House of Representatives and State Senate.
Each council in Massachusetts is invited to send a contingent of 20-25 Scouts to the state house for a day of recognition of the Boy Scouts’ positive role in our communities. The structure of the day will be:
- Arrival: 8:30am
- Official Start: 9am
- Tour Of State House
- Informal Session of Senate, Presentation of Colors
- Photos on Grand Staircase
- Presentation of Citations and Boy Scouts Report to the Commonwealth.
- Lunch: 12:30 (Scouts will need a brown bag lunch, water will be provided)
- State House Library Tour
- Depart: 2pm
